12th c Church near Lligwy
You got a Theme park on Anglesey then????oh:
Not all posh in black and white like yours Dave but I had to take this shot at Zahora today in wide angle so that I could show you a cloud
Loving the church - fab photo and great in B & W.
them builders in Anglesey are slow 800 years and they aint got the roof on yet:Laughing:
I intend going here on Tuesday (depends on the weather)
I have one like that
Great shots :thumb:
What camera are you using and how much time spent post processing?
Love it, I went there will all the best intentions, and realised that the main battery for the Canon was as flat as a pancake, had to use a small Sony Cybershot..
It was blowing a gale and cold.
Today I had a small Sony Cybershot, converted to B & W and used Photomatix Pro 4.2.3 not much else. No photoshop,
Church details here...
I love Din Lligwy - you can almost hear 'the ancients' moving about there
Only when ShiftZZ is there
It is a strange place within a few hundred yards, there is this 12c Church, a Roman Villa and a burial chamber or cromlech dates back to the Neolithic period, at the end of the 3rd millennium BC.
The well preserved settlement may date back to the Iron Age and was probably a small farming community, archaeological evidence suggests it was occupied up to the Romano-British period
Most of my mothers family originate from penrhoslligwy..
I remember visiting Anglesey one day in the 1960s when on holiday elsewhere in North Wales. Maybe I should go back one day. Does anyone know which is the "no rain" day in Anglesey in 2014?
2014 isn't a leap year, so you're out of luck :rain:
Right. South coast it is then
it will be the 32nd of something
Oi anyone would think it rains a lot in Anglesey. If it's raining just go to other side of the island cos its usually fine :Rofl1:
