From what I can tell from Google, Angles Mort stickers have never been compulsory in Spain or Portugal is that correct? We are over 3500kg, I did read that the Spanish were introducing their own version but not compulsory yet, is that also correct?

No doubt there are plenty that have never fitted them but it's not what I'm wanting to know. For the sake of a set of stickers at around a tenner why not just obey the law? If a cyclist runs into you do you really need the hassle. I know some say they keep them in the glove box but that's a bit like life jackets, useless unless wornIn Spain at the moment driven through France to get and in France every year since they were introduced. Never fitted them.
If it saves the life of a suicide jockey on a bike it is worth it.
If an accident does unfortunately occur I will not have my goolees twisted by the Gendarmes
But they might made the cyclist think. The stickers won’t save the life of a suicide jockey, you will (or not, as the case may be).
You will still be held responsible whether you have stickers, or not.
