Woohoo! We are on our way! Our first overseas trip with a Motorhome. Currently on the M4 heading towards Dover and then kip overnight before our ferry at 10.15 tomorrow morning. We have two nights booked at Neufchâtel en Bray then.....wherever! I have downloaded an app called Track My Tour and will be updating it each night so friends and family can follow on Facebook. Ridiculously excited, seriously, if I had a tail it would be wagging furiously now!

We/ I love traveling to France ( wife not quite so keen due to not a driver also doesn't speak french & worries about me being taken ill or similar)

Thank you all! Well, we are sat waiting to board the ferry. It's stopped raining, finally! I'll definitely keep you posted as there are so many things that seem new even though we've been holidaying in France for years with a caravan! Last night was a good example, we headed for the aire at Canterbury (New Dover Road) but hadn't realised that you can't get in after 8.30pm! It was nearly 10, so I had to go back to a Fun thread about overnighting near Dover to find an alternative. By 10.10 we were safely parked near the Dover Patrol monument, and had a great nights sleep! Well, boarding now so Hasta La Vista baby...laters!!!
