Just finished doing the last minute checks,everything fine.Fresh water tank full ,Aygo hooked on to the rear,food stocks replenished and the news that the weather should be fine tomorrow We are off up to Yorkshire for 5 days,staying at the Richmond Hargill House site it's a C&MC site.

Seem to spend more time in it than you do your house....

That was exactly what a friend said to my husband and I when she came to visit us in the van for breakfast one Sunday morning.

But we couldn't possibly do that we said, we have our jobs and our lives and our children and our families and our commitments and and and..

But the seed was set and somehow we mad it happen and it was the best decision we ever made. We thought our lives were all tied up in those things but it took the detachment from all those things to see that our lives were something else all together.

Anyway, enough philosophical ramblings for this early in the morning - have fun in Yorkshire and I hope the sun keep shining for you!

Arrived safely on site about an hour ago after a 4hr drive.Weather nice as well .Nice site not to big ,bit of road noise but I guess you can't have it all.we are here till Tuesday so hope the weather holds.picture looking through our windscreen

Been driving around the Yorkshire Dales for about 5 hours today.Spectacular scenery,drove over the Buttertubs road,through several small villages ,Kettlewell was very nice.Turned down a few lanes that said no through roadbut the viewsa few pics attached sorry some are dark,just using my i-pad
