Is that a box room 😂

Not seen a Simca for a while, in the 80s my dads friend drove one that looked like a 4x4 can’t remember the model but always thought it was nice and different

Yes that’s it, as a young teenager I loved the look of it, his was an orange/bronze colour.

My dad had a few simcas...the matra rancho was actually where landrover git the design for the first landrover discovery

But the wee simca 1000 are great wee cars if you can get hold of one as they are rare as rocking horse poop these days

This was in Northumberland a few weeks ago

In our YouTube video that some of you were kind enough to leave feedback on (thank-you again!) you can see a huge expedition vehicle in the background of the abandoned campsite we stayed on right next to the locks in Elblag. Owned by a lovely Swiss couple who had been touring for 20 odd months.
On our second day there, a big Belgian owned family van arrived and proceeded , after having a quick look around, to reverse down a small track to where I assume there had been pitches when the campsite was up and running. My partner asked me why we hadn't gone down there, to which I replied "You'll see." As I had suspected, the camber and the wet terrain soon stopped him in his tracks which in turn led to over an hour of digging, using grip mats, cursing and a very embarrassed looking wife and kids "going for a walk while daddy sorts this out"! Still no joy and everything that he was doing was simply making the situation worse.
Eventually, the Swiss couple put their wine glasses away and return to their vehicle, with the husband giving me the "here we go" eyeroll with a wink as he did so. They drove over to the stuck van and got a strap onto it. I swear to God that beast didn't rev over tick-over as it pulled what must have been a 4 ton family van out of the hole it had dug for itself. An amazing vehicle and a lovely couple that owned it as well!

It’s a bit more mainstream but I saw this in Braemar last month, not seen one before
