On the A10 near Bordeaux we were cut up by a car with a box trailer,he missed us by cms and went on to carve up the car in front who was either hit or over-reacted and started to 'fishtail' , he eventually rolled over and hit the central reservation rail.
I thought he might bounce back in front of us,but he came to a stop. We ended up on the hatched bit where a slip road was joining with lorries on either side of us.
Police were on scene within mins and they said we could go on as plenty of French drivers had witnessed the event and the occupants of the car hadn't been seriously injured.
What amazed me was that none of the drivers who got out of their vehicles put on Hi Viz jackets-we are continually being told that it is compulsory to wear one when getting out of vehicle on a road.
Just an observation :Smile:

There are the rules and regulations you read about in specialist magazines and on websites and then...

There is life as it is actually lived.

Aparently here in Portugal we get fined €30 for not using our indicators properly.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Glad no one is hurt and your motorhome is ok!
I think the police were probably just glad they were doing paperwork and not removing bodies.
