Concentrating on the bigger things in life today. I have a question. Naturally as a serious motorhomer I wave to other like minded souls. A matter that has troubled me greatly is the correct etiquette to employ when faced with two oncoming mohos.

Does one give individual waves or is one longer wave acceptable?

I don’t bother waving but if the oncoming Motorhome is bigger than mine I just use one finger.

It all depends on the social standing of the oncoming motorhomes...

My people advise against waving to Riff Raff...

Yesterday I had to laugh. Passenger in oncoming Moho had a huge felt hand to wave at others. Amusing.

Some may think we are sad, but being fairly new to mohoing we tend to wave to every oncoming MH, as we are chuffed to be getting away somewhere, hopefully new horizons,we do get caught out with some Tesco Vans though, then we get a strange look back in return
I bet you all wave to fellow Brand owners, come on own up!

Question, does it happen on the continent so much?, cant see the French bothering somehow, too busy arguing with their OH's or moaning about something,I bet:) and the fact of course that we are English!

We usually find the French are great wavers which is quite a strain as it sometimes seems every other vehicle on the French roads is a motorhome. It is SWMBOs job to wave as she is where they expect the driver to be. Our motorhomes French which might make a difference.

We both wave to one and all and in general get waves back from any nationality. Don't wave too much on dual carriageways as it's difficult seeing if they respond.
