Alternator replacement (1 Viewer)

The 80 amp alternator on my son's 2005 Pugeot boxer 2.0 HDI (DW10UTD(RHV) engine) has died. Can he replace this with a more highly rated one? Is this sensible?

Yes and if you feel he needs one, yes. A higher output one won't charge the battery or batteries ant faster though.
