Mine haven't.(n) Is it because you're just around the corner from Vicarious you get them first?;)

Looking good. Are they much different to the last publication as only got ours a year ago plus the map. Hardly doing France this year either - more driving through on way to Austria/Germany/Switzerland so not sure i need to buy - but open to persuasion

They are larger but not been able to study them as I'm in work :crying1:

We are not pleased with the new size-they no longer fit our dashboard tray, which is where Aires and Acsi books travel when we are touring.

Well I have given you the solution ! Buy the French official version . Compact with many more aires !! And cheaper !

Maybe I should buy them up and sell on lol

Never seen critisisim of all the aires on here before, only ever had second hand copies before ,just got to 3 rd edition but decided to splash out for Julie's xmas present and bought the new one, just had it and well satified, you are only in the north or the south so don't see a problem with two versions, but saying that , last year we followed the android aires app and found a few that weren't in our third edition.

That is probably because there are more than 3500 in the French version lol

Ours arrived last week, The new books are well laid out and easy to read and has more in it than edition 3, noticed a few have closed down but new ones opened so it pays to get new book every 2 years. Got the new ACCI card as well as it is handy to have and gives more choices.

I don't like the new size either. They won't fit the locker where I keep all these guides.
Hopefully Vicarious read this forum and will take note. The C&CC book is an awkward size too.

Personally use Search 4 sites website, uses your gps so knows where you are or you tell it where you want to be, then it will tell you of a hell of a lot aires overnight parking places and some campsite within whatever distance of you or place you want. ( also quite a lot of info and some photos) if connected to the web you can also go to google earth as well.

That's because despite the name they do NOT include ALL the aires! Its about time the name was changed as it is very deceptive and I certainly know of people who have bought them thinking they are a complete list, which they are NOT.
