Getting there!
I think I have tried every combination of formats, but cannot get Aire co-ords to work properly in Google Maps.

Please can someone help?

Many thanks in anticipation.

Just paste the coords into the search bar.

It can cope with different formats but play about and see what works.

Thanks John.
I am trying to type in the co-ords from the book, but cannot get a format that makes sense to Google!

We are on the north Brittany coast, but Google wanted to take us south of Paris!

we have always had trouble with the co ords in allthe aires, dont use it anymore but when we did we used the searchforsites app or the park4night one and find the aire in there and then they will give you all the formats or even put it straight into your phone or tablet by tapping navigate.

I can't remember but I think ATAs uses decimal minutes? So the format is 23 degrees 45.67 minutes? There are websites to convert formats but you can easily do it yourself. Divide the 45.67 by 60 then add that result to the degrees figure. So the above will become something like 23.755 or thereabouts, I'm doing the sum in my head while walking the dog. :)

That sounds like you have got the east and west co ordinates swopped around the wrong way. Mike

John's right, ATA uses degrees and decimal minutes, so it gives Lathus, for example, in the book as N46°19.974' E000°57.431'

You can put that straight into Google maps by putting a space instead of the degree symbol -
N46 19.974 E0 57.431
