Alko Towbar for Adria Vision (1 Viewer)

Hi

I'm looking for an Alko towbar for a 2010 Adria Vision Motorhome. The model is i707SL with the single beds at the rear. I would appreciate any lead in this area.

Yeah lunarman I've tried Alko and it's almost £1500 for theirs fitted. Thanks for your suggestion.

I don't know but I suppose that'll be because the Al-Ko will be German TuV certificated. That's the story with most if not all the OE equipment on offer for Continental vehicles - cars included. But you don't have to have TuV certification in the UK so why buy an Al-Ko hitch? There are plenty of tow bar specialists in the UK that will make a tow bar much cheaper than that - although having said that I have no idea if there are any complications involved with your model of van.

PS Are you really a 'Reverend'? I know one who titles himsef 'Ev the Rev' - nice sense of humour and nice chap too.

Thanks for you suggestions. Yes I've tried a few firms around here but so far without success. I would prefer the Alko one if I could get a second hand one but we will have to wait and see.

Hi Jack, Have you tried Towtal in Stoke on Trent? might be worth a phone call. Have used them for a few jobs on our vans and been pleased. They will I am sure be able to offer some advice if needed.

Thanks Haganap for your comments. I telephoned them this afternoon and are very helpful. The only problem I would have to take my van over to them and that would add another £450 for the ferry. However I may have to do that. At least I know they can make me one.
