Does anyone speak fluent French.
Could you please post on their website that it is awful,
snowing, floods and hurricane and no horse to eat on the Algarve!!!

I got it straight away - the Algarve is full up with French. Obviously they've not gone to Morocco again!

Thanks for the warning - we were headed that way but will probably now give it a miss.

I might have got it if the part of the Algarve we were in a couple of weeks ago had been “full up with French” rather than pleasantly quiet :)

In our case, Sagres. Excellent Indian restaurant there, by the way.

Name names please - and location. We're planning on going that way and by the time we get there we will be desperate for a curry.
We stayed at the Orbitur site which was pretty good, and the Indian restaurant is the Holi Diwali, about a 20 minute walk from the site, one of the first restaurants you come to when you reach the town. Very pleasant staff, and the chef will cook any of the dishes to the degree of spiciness that you require.

Go to Portugal for a curry.........they say everything that goes around comes around........it was the Portuguese that introduced a lot of the stuff in curries to the Indian sub continent in the first place.
