Traveling south from Santander, weather has been a bit dodgy. I'm going to be in Lisbon this weekend then heading south to Algarve and hopefully more consistent sunshine.
This is my first visit to Portugal, I have SFS and P4N but would welcome suggestions.

We are travelling in Portugal for the very first time too and have found algarve motorhome park.com to have excellent sites.

We only intended to use the first one at Tavira for a couple of nights but ended up staying 7 (albeit visiting friends at Armona Island for two nights) at 11 euros to inc Wi-Fi and EHU. We then moved to their site at Falesia for 12 euros per night and enjoyed the absolutely fabulous beach 400m from the top of the site. We are now at Silves for a few nights (9.5 euros per night) and visiting the 12/13th century castle (moorish?) and the lovely town.

Falesia was the most popular (full every day) but the team at Tavira called ahead for me to reserve a place when one came available.

We are off to Sagres and the end of the world (!) after the weekend and will then head up to Lisbon and Porto I expect. So far we have only found two sites in Spain with full occupancy as we headed South and moving to a nearby alternative hasn’t been a problem

Thanks..I've landed up at Camping Alvor..it's quite nice and the town is pretty full of bars and restaurants.. I will explore the area and stay for 3 nights... maybe more
I'm solo with 6m van , ehu and think it's about €15 for me but €17 for acsi including 2 person, dog and ehu... you probably need chocks as quite hilly.

BreweryDave lives on the site, you should find him at the bar. 😉

We recently parked down the front next to the football ground for a few nights with no problems. It’s a shame the municipal site has been closed down.

The campsite looks great. Visited but not stayed.

Alvor is a great spot.
