it connects to the Alfa AWUS036H high powered usb wifi adapter and turns it in to a full long range wifi router, it will also connect to the repeatit long range wifi aerial, i have tried it with both aerials and all works as should be , no software, to install its web page based ,can be updated for the new alfa n adapters and can run of 12v, 240 volt to 12v power supply included,the other good thing about this is that it will accept certain 3g dongles and you can share this signal over wifi also
with it been web page base and no software it will also be great for ipads and other tablets to use with the long range aerials i have mentioned
