Does anyone else who uses a tablet find it irritating that when you click on your "alerts" you get linked to the advert that is currently just behind / slightly above the alerts button.
Maybe I'm getting old and cynical but could this be a prime spot for advertisers on the site who conveniently get loads of clicks by people like myself....

Surely not...?!

I find it annoying too....have found the trick is to click just below the alert....seems to work for me on my I pad!

I myself use a capacitive stylus, this stops fat finger syndrome!

Thank you very much for posting this, I thought the alerts were just adverts.
Methinks I need a brain transplant.
I could cope with the old style forum and a computer, when this thing updates I am a lost soul.
I'm just a simpleton at heart, and a deaf one at that.
Anyways I have read my alerts proper, thanks again.

Well I keep losing my capa dodahs, but i agree it is irritating keep getting the flaming ads popping up!

I have absolutely no problem in paying a tenner to join what is an informative and entertaining forum...

Having paid the tenner it does irritate me that despite a "steady finger"...most of the time !...that I find myself redirected to sites advertising something.

Presumably these sites pay something for their position on the forum..

Maybe not a problem...not a biggie...who cares?

Don't seem to have that problem if you view in portrait rather than landscape (y)
