........ and I thought they were having a new year sale as many of their m/hs on fleebay are shown at at silly prices which are too good to be true.:doh:

I saw this and looked at how I could alert EBay. Their advice is to contact the seller so that they themselves can contact EBay. You would have thought they would have a scam alert notification.

I did wonder as the dialling code had a typo obviously to make people ring the mobile number.

I did get excited when I saw the prices to start with though, especially after spending all day out hunting for a new motorhome. :(

I noticed the silly low prices. As mentioned earlier its not the first time they have been hacked. Strange!

I hate that expression hacked. They didn't get hacked. They just have poor password security. They either use an extremely weak password. Or they used the same password on multiple sites. Or they have it on a post it note somewhere that can be accessed by non authorised people. Lots of ways the password can escape. But hacked suggests that ebays security is at fault here.

Sorry just a pet peeve of mine being in the trade and all.

Which reminds me I didn't do that article I promised on another thread. Will try and do it tonight.
