ALDI Special buy TV

I had a look. I didn't see a satellite receiver, but it has everything else.

Bought one last year. Decent kit for the money. Has most things you want for a caravan / motorhome TV if you dont want to be spending a lot.

Sorry I missed that. I don't need a tv at the moment but if I did this would be a good choice

Ive just noticed it is On-Line only so don't rush to the store.

I bought one when it came out last month, was really disappointed with the delivery service - they took a week to dispatch

But then was even more disappointed when I flipped it over and found the vesa mount on the back was 200mm x 100mm, when most vesa wall brackets I've found are 100x100, or 75x75

It went straight back

Has this HDMI arc and vesa mount to mount to my bracket?

The TV has been around quite a while, had mine last May. Delivered and came next day so maybe you were just unlucky.
Ref VESA there is no standard size. In the very early days of flat TV,s most were 75x75 or 100x100 as screen sizes were limited. So those size mounts suited the TV,s. Larger screens mean bigger amounts. My TV bracket was 100 x 100. I just extended the width with some flat metal strips, sorted easy enough and no need to change the braces. There are also expander kits on Ebay to do the job.

Looks exactly like the one my mate has got, he bought it from aldi 2 years ago....I got the previous model one with centre leg rather than the 2
Got it on a quick release mount so it fits in front and rear of van, had it 3 years with no problems...never used it on 240v

Must be an old model if it has a Scart socket...
Not really. It has HDMI anyway. No technology is involved in SCART as it simply gathers existing connections into one oversize plug attached to cable that doesn't bend. It still has occasional outings with legacy stuff..

I bought one last year - bargain.
Did need 200mm fitting for a swing out arm though I seem to recall.

I also ordered when it first went online. As it states it’s pre-order, which is why. Didn’t actually go on sale officially until about 4 days later. :giggle:

I found the mount awkward due to the DVD player protruding from the back to one side. I had an arm mount from Curry’s. Came with extenders. Was a fiddle and had to find some washers to pack it properly, but fits. The TV itself is fantastic for the price. Well worth the wait and the fiddle.(y)

In case you need one I got a good mounting arm from Wickes! That was 200mm size.

Very good but just in case someone thinks that they can use that to control a roof top sat dish they can't. If will only take the LNB signal from a fixed dish or already tuned one.

It does power my sat finder. I have a manual dish.

My Oyster Vision II locks on to any sat I select or manually move to in the Oyster menu.
ANY Sat receiver can then scan in the selected sat. Independently of any DiSEqC.
