Aldi heating not working on electric

Can you help the Aldi heating will work on gas but not electric, thanks for any suggestions

Check the MCB in the main board Jeff, it may have tripped. Is anything else that works on mains working?

If it isn’t that, there is sometimes a fuse in the connection unit to switch it on near the unit, should be a simple 240v switch.

Finally, make 100% sure electric is selected as the primary energy source, they are complicated buggers the controls.

Could be one of the electric heating elements has failed.

Could try Lidl

Seriously though the first heat up cycle can take a long time if you don't select gas too to give a boost. Even at the 2kw setting, the electric heating for Alde is not that great

What model / controller have you got, on ours we have a 2 pin plug symbol when on hook up, that would be my first check

Then a look at fridge to confirm that is working on mains

Hi big thanks for the help, left heating on gas for a bit last night, this morning all good on electric

We have had two vans with Alde heating and both after lack of use have needed to be run on gas boosted up and then all was well again.
