I'm a newbie
Hi all.
Rather than leaving the hot water system on all through the night so I have hot water in the morning, is it possible to used the 'Day / Night' mode timer settings to set the water to come on for an hour in the morning, or is the water always on by default as the system is on?
I use the 'Day / Night' mode settings to set the heating to come on for an hour in the mornings but as I don't need heating at this time of year it would be useful to be able to set the water to come on for just an hour rather than leaving the water on all through the night kicking in and out on the thermostat. What do you do?

Yeah i did that. I set the heating to 5c (min) with the little shower head symbol (with the red cross through it) to green - ON, but the water didn't heat.
When you say, "the hot water will then be off during the night", do you mean that it'll kick in during my times set ie 6-7am?

Yes, if that's what you have set as time for end of night session. Make sure you have the shower symbol set to heat water during the day and you have the clock set to right time ... also ensure gas or electric are selected accordingly.
