Alde Heating "gas failure, fan failure'. (1 Viewer)

I'm new to the Alde system and have it in my 2019 Adria Matrix. As we will shortly be leaving Spain and heading through France I thought it best to check the gas heating system but after having it switched on for 5 minutes I get a red warning "gas failure, fan failure'. Can anyone help.

Yes gas is on, gas hob works ok.

The flue fan can stick if not used on gas for a while. If you can spin it to start it you may be OK

Do the hob flames reduce when you try to start the boiler?

If they do it could be a gas pressure issue.

Yes gas is on, gas hob works ok.

Is the heater isolating valve on (open)?

Also have you tried a few times, it can take two or three attempts if not been used on gas for a while.

Another vote on this one.
If unused for a while or bottle been off there is often air trapped and it can take a while for the gas to come through. We used to get it on our previous van for the water heater. Try it, leave for a min or two then try again.
On a hob you have the gas running as you try to light so more comes through the pipe, on the boiler it will only pass through a small amount before cutting off..

Do you have gas filters fitted?
do you have refillable gas bottles?
Thinking valve may be oiled up.
