Hi top

Good morning all,
I wonder if someone can help me. Since an engineer changed the circuit board 6 months ago, we have no control on the temperature of our hot water. When we switch the panel on, the wster starts to heat up to an uncomfortable level (too hot to touch).
It appears that the thermostat is not controlling the required temperature.
I noticed today two loose wires (see attached photo). Could this be the problem?
If this is the case, I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction where these attch to on the circuit board.
Many thanks in advance for any help.

The water temperature can’t be adjusted on the Alde system.
The temperature control is for heating only and that just stops and starts the pump to circulate the heating fluid.
The hot water can be boosted to a higher heat as a temporary measure by using the + button beside the shower symbol on the panel.
I've copied the relevant page from the manual below:-

Many thanks Clarky for your swift reply. There is a genuine fault with my system, when I have the water setting set at it lowest setting the water is scolding. It appears that the hot water system is not being controlled by the thermostat.
The heating system is fine with no issues.

There is no thermostat for the water.
Our water is also very hot and when we were at Alde U.K. for a service/ fluid change I asked the guy if the temperature could be reduced. He then explained that the fresh water is heated by being in a separate jacket surrounding the heating fluid. The heating fluid is always heated, even in summer when the radiators aren't required, the heat then is absorbed by the fresh water in its surrounding jacket.
The only adjustable thermostat is to control the circulation pump for the heating.
If you want to confirm ring Alde on 01933 677765. They are very helpful.

Richard.

The domestic water temperature is not user controlled save by the boost setting in which case the system does not circulate the heating side for about 30 mins. That said there must be a thermostat within the unit but I do not know where. If you go to the panel, and settings, page 4 (service button) you will see the water (domestic) and the heating fluid temperatures. Mine is usually circa 55 once heated, and around 70 when on boost. What is your water temperature, this will be a much better way of us helping than " it's scolding" no critism intended.

Many thanks for your comments.
The heated water temperature is 59 degrees. Boosted is 69 degrees.
One thing I have noticed is you have a reading of 0.8 amps current, I have no reading. Is that right.

Answered in reply to your PM. At least you can now relax your water temps are OK, well insofar as they match mine.
