Not sure where to post this query.

How do you get insurance for these countries? Safeguard won't provide cover and we were hoping to drive through them from Greece to get to Croatia etc.

A number of countries will give you Green Card cover for them free, I used AXA. Alternatively you can turn up at the border and buy the legal requirement for that particular country and pay anything from 30 to 50 euros for what essentially amounts to 3rd party cover.
