Hi all, I'm looking to have an alarm fitted to my Motorhome and wondered if anyone has seen a product that has a camera installed internally to view remotely? Thanks

It can be done, but will need additional gizmos such as Mifi internet access to send the signal and suitable cameras with ethernet capabilities.

Nokia used to (may still do) a little security camera with a built in sim card so it would email/txt/message a photo to you if ever it sensed anything. Might be able to fit such a thing as a standalone device in addition to your alarm?

    But at what distance ?

Yards and a cheap baby camera or reversing camera delivers the goods.

Miles and a cheap WiFi camera will do but needs internet access.

    All drain your leisure battery.

This is not a bad idea. Having a pinhole camera facing the driver which you can take a picture of remotely. At least then you can nail the thieving git :thumb:

There are some on EBay that use a mobile network and take a SIM, no idea as the quality or battery consumption!

    Cheers
