2008 swift kon-tiki
Hi folks. Can anyone help with where I can get a pair of handbrake cables for my 2008 Swift kon-tiki they are not Fiat parts. The chassis is AL-Ko and my garage failed MOT twice but cannot locate a set. The part numbers are on the side of cables. The motorhome has only done 13000 miles from new but due to health problems and covid the motorhome was not used for 4 years

It won't be cables.
There's a particular sequence for adjusting the handbrake for it to work efficiently.
It starts I believe with the cable slack and then adjust the handbrake, centralising the shoes, until they just bind ensuring the cables don't tighten while the shoes are adjusted.
Then tighten the cables to take out the slack
You can't simply adjust the handbrake by tightening the cable.

Above thread suggests a couple of places that might make the cables but really alko should be able to provide them.

Alko online shop has this tel number, 01926 818500,

My brother needed the handbrake cable for a Bessacarr E760 2006 with Alko chassis and managed to get the correct one from Nova leisure.
TEL 02476390112. Dealt with a guy called Christian who was more than helpful.
