Just saw this on ebay always thought they were a nice looking van but 35k for a 1982 van not sure if I would pay that much for it . Im sure he will get the asking price for it.

One of the few motorhomes that is depreciation proof if looked after. £35K in the bank for 5 years will be worth about £25K in real terms if your lucky. £35K invested in that will always be worth £35K and you will have the pleasure of owning and using it with the added advantage of it appreciating in value. Better than buying gold sovereigns.

But then , each to their own, and I agree you'd probably never lose money on it if kept in good nick.

Wasn't there a guy on here who sank everything into a bottomless pit restoration of one of those ? I'm sure it went seriously pear shaped.

I love it but Lynne has told me we have to go smaller not bigger on our next motorhome .lol

The Dutch guy who was parked nexted to us on the Mosel showed us around his I loved it but no shower he took the petrol tank out and fitted 2 gpl tanks had a range of 400k .

When he pulled into the campsite everyone got out of there chairs to look at it so happy when he parked next to us

I saw an airstream caravan recently, I don't know what the accommodation is like but the polished exterior just brings a big grin to me.

You can't call a airstream a caravan to a airstream owner they get very upset they call them airstream trailer I should know I got told off for calling one a caravan

I fall into the "admire it from afar" group. Driving around in it? Definitely not for me.
