Aires west coast France (1 Viewer)

We are travelling down to Spain on 1st March via Bordeaux and wondering if any one can recommend an Aire around the Ondres/Tarnos north of Bayonne area.

This might be an option for you..

If you're coming down the A63 then come off at J12, down the 947 to Dax, the aire in the town is a bit noisy but I can recommend the free aire at St Paul les Dax, nicely situated in the trees by a park. 43.73530 -1.07784

Then back to the A63 via the D824/D810 rejoining at J7. Should save you about €10 in tolls as well.

Not in that area, but if you spend another 45 minutes on the road the Aire at St Sebastian, just over the border in Spain, is very good. Nice walk into the beach and centre of town.

Soustons plage, €7 for 24hrs inc 16 amp electric. Salt water lake one side and a short walk to miles of beach the other side.
