Aires near troyes

Hiya were heading off next week skiing, we want to travel a little way down on the Friday evening , looking to stop over near troyes and await our friends arrival , anyone know of a nice stop over please

There's an Aire nearby at Geraudot. Do you have an Aires book to check its location ? I believe it's near a lake.

What height is your mh? It is not clear if the aire at Geraudot is has reopened - it was closed. However, there is a car park nearby which which many MHs have used overnight. It is possible that there is a 2.2m barrier that is closed at night. Our camper is 2.1m but there were taller mhs when we stayed.

There is an aire right in the middle of Troyes. It is a large car park and there are always MHs there. To my knowledge it has no facilities, but we parked there and it was easy to walk the town. Troyes is a nice place.
Metz has an aire right in the middle as well, worth a look round.

A short way beyond Troyes is a free overnight parking area (no services) close to the lake at Mesnil-Saint-Pere.
