Aire near le Mans (1 Viewer)

Anyone know of a good night stop A11 or A16 near Le Mans - North of La Mans if possible

There is a free car park in the middle of the city that you can stay at. Right by the walls of the old city, which is well worth a visit. It has some marked out long bays for coaches and motorhomes. No water or dump though. Campercontact number is 14957.

It can get busy at times during the day but it is quieter at night

Montbizot is Ok, near the motorway and just North of Le Mans. From memory there are 2 or 3 hardstanding spaces on there. Should be quiet this time of year.

Aire in the centre, by marina, was closed in September. Don't know how long for.

If you need water (free) , about 9 miles back , Le Sap aire is free water & ehu by the small fire station . We use on our way out & back most trips . I would have suggested it earlier , but thought you wanted to be nearer Le Mans .

Yes very nice only allowed 5pm to 10am but I am away by 8am so its OK.

Yes, we've emptied there a few times, but never stayed the night. Looks ok though, I reckon there could be a good value meal out too, not too touristy.

Found this thread and we were in the area so stayed at this aire.... Still free water ,ehu etc in a nice little village
