We always stop at Neufchatel-en-Bray firts night when going south. Nice and pristine with shops nearby (and a macdonalds).

We have been finding getting a space at Wissant hit and miss recently so the last couple of times we stay here which is about 5 mins up the hill from wissant. There is a bread van in high season and next door to the brewery. Hard standing or grass, ehu and view over the channel.

Better than a car park when the buses startup at 630 in the morning unless you have an early crossing ;-)

Because it's French ! So you would never expect it to be pronounced the English way. I mean they spell Paris the same way, but everyone surely knows we pronounce them differently.

I love the Spanish pronunciation of that very word (their spelling of course, explaining the second 'th')
pronun thi ath i own. (short 'i' as in the word in, not I as in me!)
