Regarding the Maxxair Maxxfan, this looks like an ideal replacement for our old, noisy Fiamma. The size is the same too. Has anyone switched these? If so were there any snags?

Maxxair fits a 400x400 opening. If your existing fiamma is that size, then straight swop.
Just to add, at outside on the roof, it has about 6” overhang towards the back, that enables to have it open during the rain. So take in consideration the 6” clearance on the roof, the rear side only.

Gerry if your Motorhome is more than 6.5 metres I would say the Compact + would be better option and still only draws 4.4amps so still useable on 6 amp hookup .
That’s a mighty draw for a small AC. Daikin ftxm inverter 9k btu or 2,5kw cooling, draws 3-3,2a at the beginning. Then it throttles down to 1,2-1,5a, with 36-37C degree outside.
