A long time now
Hello all, Having just sold my old awning to a fellow funster we are now looking for a new one for our PVC, the old one was too big,so can any one recommend one, we would prefer removable groundsheet but not essential. We are at the NEC next week so can have a good look around .:)

We had an air beam on our T5. They are easy to put up and take down compared to poles but the beams can lose air and sag. In addition ours collapsed during very heavy rain bringing the roof down to the floor. It was an expensive awning so wouldn't have expected that.

We went for the Kampa Rally pole version as it’s much cheaper than the Air one. The Air one does come with both 4 and 6 mm beads already attached but the pole version comes only with the 6mm which is arkward if you have a Fiamma awning.
I just pulled out the 6mm insert and pushed in a 4mm one I took from an old awning. The alternative is to use a 6 to 4mm Kadar strip.
This is ours at Jim’s site.

Just bought an 2018 Outdoor Revolution Elan 340 air awning. Fits the van well. Just be aware that on some air awnings the air bags are in the way of the sliding door opening. We are using it this week and are pleased with it. Has both 4 & 6 mm beads

We also have a Kampa pro air. I personally wouldn’t return to a poled version. We would almost be in divorce courts in years gone by. This one
Steps out,
Omnistor awning out a bit, until easy to access
Slide beading into grove
Plug into pump, set pressure PSI
Sit a bit, pull out to standing
Sit a bit, pump stops
Unplug, screw plug back in
Get chair and sit while hubby pegs out
Pegging out takes the longest.

Hi @mike mcglynn
Here’s ours on the same PVC you have - AS Warwick XL.
It is a outdoor revolution cayman Cacos uno, one pump up point and one to deflate. Large tunnel which is a doddle to uncouple to drive away and easy to reconnect after. Encloses the full width of door opening and is really good quality. Bit wrinkled in photo but only just put up there.
Hope it helps or any more info.
Regards

Trikeman.
