Reading the blurb that comes with the air suspension kit we had fitted to our Autosleeper, it says that if left for long periods without use, the suspension should be deflated to prevent damage, presumably to the air bags, any thoughts, does anyone do this?.

Dunlop used to advised keeping 10psi in the system to prevent creasing leading to cracking

My Alko instructions say exactly the opposite: when left unused for long periods the suspension should be inflated periodically. I believe this is to prevent creasing the air bags, which is what I believe caused a failure not long after I'd bought it. (I suspect it had been left deflated while at the dealer.)

Strange really, you could take that as saying that the system is not suitable for 365 days per year use.
