Hi,

I have recently bought a motorhome with Dunlop Auxiliary Air Suspension. It is a 2012 Swift Sundance 3500kg

The pressure gauge for the suspension is currently reading 2 bars. Any recommendations on what it ought to be please?

Thanks

We run between 2.5 and 3 bar. 2001 Hymer 3850kg
Best just try different pressures and see what suits you.

It should be just enough to maintain your ride height so varies with load .

Long way around to do it. Empty the van completely water, All loose goods bedding tv etc. Air bags at 1.5 bar. Measure height from rear jacking points to ground. Reload van with all you would normally carry, full gas bottle, water, fuel. Measure height again pump up air bags till same height as empty van, you will find that about right. At 3500 kg too high will not give you the best ride.

Hence the reason to start at 1.5 bar, when loaded if you are at the same height as empty at 1.5 you remove the risk of damage running the air bags at too low a pressure.
