Could you experts out there offer any advice on this product please?

www.coolmycamper.com

Just wondering how effective it would be for the whole van where the external temperature is say 30 degrees C?

Thanks

It all depends on the size of your van ..

At 700watt it will be fine on a van up to about 4 / 5mts ie small camper or caravan ..

As a guide this is what Dometic recommend for different sizes of vans

Length : Cooling capacity
5mts = 1,000watt

6mts = 1,500watt

7mts = 2,000watt

8mts = 2,500watt

Other consideration is where do you store it when travelling or not required. ? It also reduces payload by 20.5kg
Personally I wouldn't buy, If I needed air con I would have a proper sized unit fitted permanently ..

Where just looking at the Truma Saphire Vario, which comes in a variant of 600/1500. 2000watts, depending on what option you put it on, it fits under the settee or garage. Those figures are just off the top of my head.
