Just wondering if anyone else is waiting for an air bag module for a fiat Ducato ,I have been waiting over a week now for one and I am being told they are on back order . Does anyone know how hard they are to get or is the garage just dragging its feet. I have been quoted £240 for the part plus fitting ,I didn’t think that was too bad 🤔

Getting Better
Send your old one off to Crash Data in Liverpool and they should be able to repair and reset it. Quick turn round and cost under £100.

It was a couple of years ago but this is what I did too, good service..😎

Load of crooks far better to get a genuine new Fiat one and they come with a 2 year warranty, Crash Data don't give any warranty at all.

They said ours ( Peugeot 2014 EU5 ) wasn’t repairable 🤷‍♀️ so ordered a new one of them programmed to the van. Hope they aren’t crooks. Think it was £340.

They repaired my one if failed in just over a week after repair no warranty wanted to charge again a company I would never ever deal with again absolute crooks & tell you a load of BS about it failing on low voltage 12.6 which is not low.
I doubt if the new one they supply will be the latest version, they have a new part number now and as I said Fiat offer a two year warranty.

Just as a follow up van all fixed now but as I am a sort of belt and braces type of man I had it booked in in two places and as a result I now have a spare module that I had to pay for ,no problem as they are quite rare I will keep it as a spare but if anyone is stuck for a module and holidays coming up I will let them have it . As long as they replace it or buy it . Might be useful for someone but as I said it will be kept as a spare otherwise.
