Just started!
Good morning Funsters.

We purchased a S/H Outdoor Revolution Air Awning, we used it once so far at Malvern and discovered that two out of the three roof beams deflated - one slowly over a day or so and the other more quickly. I've now purchased replacements but wonder if anyone has had success repairing these leaks?

I did remove the bladders, found the leaks and tried to repair using some miscellaneous patches but they didn't work!

Any suggestions?

We had an Outwell air awning for caravan back in 2018. We found the black beams got very hot in the sun in Southern France and after a week away a seam split. Didn’t try to repair it - they offered to send replacement beam out to France but we had a simple sun awning and made do. Got full refund on return.

Take the bladders to the local cycle shop and see if they can do a leak proof repair.

My experience with inflatable tents is in hot weather the air expands and the beams develop punctures.
A solution may be in hot weather not to fully inflate.

Unfortunately the 'Lifetime Guarantee' on the bladders is not transferable with a sale! I'll reduce the pressure in the beams, thanks.

I was wondering if there was a recommended patch for use with these bladders. I have read people not having success with cycle repair patches!

I had a pin hole in a brand new vango air awning year's ago, the supplier was fantastic and sent me out a replacement tube next day, but I repaired the punctured one with the supplied vango repair kit whilst on holiday and it's been fine probably 8 years later!
Still got the replacement pole in the cupboard as a spare!
I'd recommend using the manufacturers repair kit, if they do one, rather than anything else
