It’s annoying not being able to tell the age of a van by numberplates… like you can for a UK registered van…or can you ? I was wondering what age this one is so I can try and work out it’s value….looks nice.

Looks like ours which is 2003. I think that model ran up to 2006, but not sure when it started.

Until the 'crisis' in 2008 you could guess roughly the age by the first letter as the new system started in 2000 & that C was first issued end of 2002 & in to 2003. it used to average one letter per year but all went thruppnies up after 2008 & lack of sales.. We are only up to 'M' now.

**Then again you also have the problem of reregistered vehicles imported from elsewhere which also get registered as if brand new on the day the paperwork is done.
A friend of mine who lives in Spain said that you must inspect every bit of rubber to find out if it has been stored undercover or not. The sun destroys rubber and paint.
It certainly does .the paint lacquer degrades terribly. Tyres also if not shielded

here is the only one I can find for sale . a 2002 with 49,000miles on it @36k eurosBroken Link Removed

Hmm…I bought my last two MH’s in Germany and imported them ….I think those days are over though…20% tax so makes them more expensive as opposed to less expensive…although if it’s the van one wants…
