You could park your MH on ramps, to allow any pools of water to run off the roof, rather than form blocks of ice. She’s been well drained , air circulating, on ehu and managed a quick run 3 weeks ago to refuel . In your experience what problems should I look out for - it a year old coach built Moho btw
May I just correct this statement. Warm air does carry more moisture than cooler air.Shouldn't need any special care, well aired & heat it as normal.
Don't be tempted to listen to the soothsayers on here who will happily tell you "warm air carries more moisture than cold air", when did freezing cold air ever dry your washing?
Mechanical checks should be just your normal checks & if laid up for a while, its preferable to leave the handbrake off, as long as its safe, so in gear handbrake off.
Yes it does, & if the motorhome is aired properly, the warm air will carry any unwanted moisture away. Try airing the van on a freezing cold day with no heating & you'll end up with a musty or damp motorhome, especially if your in the motorhome!May I just correct this statement. Warm air does carry more moisture than cooler air.

So baitless traps then?I’d keep an eye out for rodents and set traps having removed any potential food source
The only time i used these--- the mice made a house out of it------ I now swear by plastic mouse trap with small dog (cat?) Biscuit superglued as bait------- incredibly successful!!
No we use a regular one
Yep I drive past a dealer every day and their stock is unplugged and uncoveredHow many dealers leave heating on ?
Excellent advice, thats exactly how ours is during this cold weather.Mine sits outside hooked up and heating stat set at 8degs and even with this extreme cold not a sign of condensation.
