After a few days around the area with easy access walking and to nearby towns /interest without moving the van ?

If you are looking for a full campsite, Mayfield Park is just outside town. There is a bus stop about 50m down the road with regular runs into town.

A good suggestion. Very pleasant walk into town through the parkland. Nice Cotswold town with a good range of cafes etc. Big Roman earthwork amphitheatre also a short walk away.

This one I’d r ecommend too. Nice walk into town.
Sounds very nice but expensive if not in their club.Dont do a lot in this country Europe mainly .Has teir "standard pitch "got leccy ?

Yes. High season now the schools have broken up, anywhere I think will be costly. Benefits are that you don’t have to move van once settled. My experience on CMC site is consistency. I know I’m going to get a good sized pitch, not parked up someone’s arse or that close we could all have a game of cards whilst sat in our own respective vans, spotless loo block, a good nights sleep as nxt door pitch aren’t up till 2am “nattering”(subjective, but never happened to us in 15yrs membership).

There are not many CAMH sites that don’t do leccy. Cheltenham racecourse is good for that though - less than£10 a night without ehu on the racecourse rails ?
