I just had another 490w solar panel installed today (980w in total now), but it came with a different (EPever) controller to my previous installation.
Reading the manual for the new controller it says I can get an AES module to connect to the fridge on 12v, and (from my understanding of the Chienglish text), means when the batteries are fully charged it can supply the fridge 12v directly from the solar saving gas usage?
Is this right?
Sounds like a great idea, even if its only periodically able to run the fridge. I assume if the fridge is set to auto it will just take the solar 12v as and when its available and then switch back to gas when its not?
