Hi have just bought an Avtex tv as I am new to all this no clue to what kind of aerial to buy or how to fit it we intend to use a fire stick if possible any recommendations would be helpful thanks

Isn't there one on the roof already.
The most popular seems to be the Status direction aerials but they all require a hole drilled in the roof above the wardrobe or wall cabinets.

I use one of these, but I have an external aerial input so just deploy it when needed, stuck on the roof or side of the van with the suction cup supplied.
I find the performance excellent

For the Firestick you'll need mobile data and a 4G signal

We have an Avtex TV and a Vision Plus Status 355 aerial etc...however we now use the firestick for our tv watching, thethered to our phones, so really the aerial is redundant .
