Hello boys and girls I have just bought a motor home and it doesn't have a TV aerial it's has obviously had 1 in the past because there is a hole in the roof where the coax went so what's the best 1 to get?

Personally I don’t see the need for an aerial or sat dish (I know we‘re all different) £96 would buy a lot of mobile data, and I don’t get the idea of going away to watch TV in a van.

I use a 12” iPad and download movies etc (which I seldom watch) and if I want the TV news then I use iPlayer on the iPad

As you said Boris we are all different, I don't do social media unless this web site can be called social media so have no need for any more data then I get with my normal package and if I read books I fall asleep so TV is my way of relaxing.
I think that's the aerial I have on my old camper Jim and your right they are good I just wondered if there is anything better.

These seem to get good reviews often from narrowboat users.

I'm saying nowt!!!

Thats good because they have come on a long way from the little omni you are thinking about.

I have a sat dish and one of those. We dont watch much but I dont have to put the dish up, its rare that it doesnt find every freeview including the HD channels. its pricey but very good.
