What sticky stuff do you recommend for sticking the plastic beading onto the metail rail around the joints on the van ?
Silicone, Grab fix, super glue ??

Thanks in anticipation. Tony

You shouldn't need to stick it on,the bead should hold it in place.

Like Dave said the plastic insert is self supporting.
If ots falling out thes because it has shrunk or gone hard due to age new insert reqiured
If whats been said sound wrong, you have not fully described what your trying to do

I agree with Geo and Dave, I am struggling to understand what you are asking. Are you saying the metal strip to the van has come away? maybe a picture would be a good idea, so you can get the answer you need:thumb:

Hi
The beading I think you are refering to is called 'erzim' or 'urzim'

I used to use it when I was in shop fiitting for edging trims

the plastic strip usualy just pushes into place in the ali strip, sometimes, if it,s a bit cold we used to leave it in a tub of hot water for a while

It is possable that yours has been got at by old age or u.v.

Check out 'shop fitting supplies' or aluminium edgeing strip, on the internet, you may be able to find a supplier for some new insert strip

Best of luck
