My neighbor who is looking to buy a MoHo but is restricted budget wise to c£25k, has found this 393485780342 on ebay. Please could I ask if this is a reasonable price.

i would say a scam , keep away. seller has only just joined and has no history. badly spelt description taken from another website.

Its cheap, looks ok below. May have hidden damp issues or other problems hence the price being so low.

Well I hope you have informed him it’s a scam. A near miss for him. 😷
 
My friend is looking for an old van, even those are getting targeted. Another scam , subsequent emails confirmed we couldn’t view it.
I would never hand £££over for something I couldn’t take with me from a private seller.

I must inform you that I am German, I have worked for several years in United Kingdom in an Anglo-German project but now I am back in Hamburg, I bought the motorhome to drive there, I cannot take it with me to drive it here, hard to drive and more reliable right-hand drive. I'm selling it because I want to buy a German car, I leave it in my garage in the United Kingdom for sale.

I did just that this morning. Spoke to a female with an African accent (nothing wrong with that, I add). Apparently the MH is currently in storage in Gt Yarmouth. Due to family issues she is unable to go to the storage unit until next Thursday. She has already had a call from a dealer in N Ireland who has agreed to pay her a 33% deposit later today, he will then view the MH at the storage unit on Tuesday, if its as described he will pay the outstanding balance straightaway and take the MH away with him. I asked if I could call here back this afternoon to see if the dealer had come up with the deposit, if not along with my neighbor we will come and look at it on Tuesday, she said that would be fine. I have since checked on the DVLA website, it confirms it has a current MOT and is Taxed, however it had a new V5 registration document issued in June 2021.
I've tried calling her back a number of times since 4pm and guess what, no answer. I think she may well of smelt a rat.

I certainly did.
 
Thanks to everyone that took the time, not only respond to my query, but also took the time to make further enquiries.

The first thing I said to my neighbour when he came around for some advice this morning was, "it does seem a bit cheap, however, being a tag axle it would only appeal to those who had a cat C license, so maybe that's why is cheap.

The fact she has not answered my calls or called me back suggest it's a glorified scam.

It gets around, it’s back on eBay in Margate this time!

so many scams right now, we looked at an older one on eBay this week and on the mot history mileage went from 96000 in 2016, 112000 in 2017 to 44000 last year 🙈
 
Ironically my neighbour phoned me earlier this evening to ask if it is the same vehicle that was on ebay in August 2021.

Surly people don't fall for these scams, or do they..
