I'm a newbie
Hiya, have realised the 'stay' bar (think thats what its called) at the top of the door has jumped out of it's holder. When I pop the bar back in the holder I can open the door and it slides along a track in the top of the door and gets to a point where it holds the door open, but the bar keeps jumping out of the slidey holder bit......I'm sorry I'm probably not explaining it very well but if you can understand what bit i'm on about, I want to know it these things usually break and just have to be replaced or can they be repaired. I really need to get up on a ladder to have a proper look but just noticed it this afternoon and haven't been able to get high enough to see the top of the door.....

Oh I have a Autosleeper Burford Duo if that's any help - thanks for helping a novice :D(y)

Its the same as the Swift. Terrible design. It is supposed to have a clip to hold it in place. It's a very small C Clip. If you are lucky you may find it in the top of the door channel. The repair is simple enough. Remove the screw holding the arm in place to the door frame. Take out the nylon piece from the top of the door ( there is one place where it comes out ) and refit it to the metal arm. Refit the very small C Clip and reassemble. Ours put a dent in the door when the wind caught it. If you look at later ones they have now discontinued it not really surprising. Make sure the small pin on the end of the arm is straight. You used to be able to get a repair kit about £10 don't know if you still can.

Update .. https://www.caravanaccessoryshop.co.uk/product/approach-se-hartal-exterior-door-stay/8543

Thank you so much @QFour that’s really helpful, think I’ll track down a new one and just replace it
