I am interested in the models with a drop down bed as it seems to make sense in term of using all of the available space .what are the pros and cons please people,

One con I think is when the bed is down you cannot drive away.

We have the Hymer Exsis. 2005 and it has a drop down bed AND you can drive away with the bed in either position. Absolutely brilliant storage space and within your budget IF you can get one.
These are not the rehashed brand that Hymer currently have but they were built between 2004 and 2007
Also its sub 6 metres and 3.5 tonnes.

thats a healthy budget for an older hymer. drop down bed and good interior layout. plus the older ones are really well built and hold their value well
