Thinking off taking our MH out for our maiden trip in it. Was wanting to go as close to Blackpool as possible. Any one know of any sites that are in the vacinity please. The MH is 8.7m length.

The search for sites app is very good. This is what a search for Blackpool shows. Blue MH symbols places to park and maybe overnight, green tents commercial campsites, there is a Caravan and Motorhome Club site and the green and red flags show the locations of the small 5 unit sites affiliated to the two big clubs Cand MC and CCC.
There is also a pint mug symbol for pub stopover. If you tap on a symbol all the details about that site come up.

Google is a brilliant tool for doing research. One of your biggest problems will be the size of your vehicle. We went on a Camping and Caravanning Site and they said we were about as big as they wanted at 7.5M. Caravan Club take upto 9M but not on all sites. You will certainly struggle in Car Parks. We can just get in a space with the back overhanging the grass. Otherwise you have to pay for two spaces but some are very tight on the turns.
