But if you doubt me, bring a reliable, guaranteed worldwide form of barter... either gold or Fray Bentos Pies... (no chicken or kidney).

Filled with diesel (98p a litre here).

Still to decide where to carry the two super chairs as the boot is full of grass and wood clearing machinery.

Tomorrow will drop into QMJ, do a bit of labouring and then head for the Portuguese/Spanish border at Vila Formosa for the night.

My route takes me very near to the huge Boom Festival... I hope there won't be too many hippy girl hitch hikers...
