Does anyone know if the magnetic flap can be replaced or will it be necessary to replace the complete fitting?

Is the flap broken or just the magnet(s) missing, or something else?
If missing you can buy tiny magnets on eBay which could be Araldited in place.

There is a small piece broken at the hinge. It still works but the spring mechanism is very sticky.
The whole fitting needs to be replaced unfortunately.
I could not find a way of changing the flap when my magnets failed. And it continued to flap about when I was driving
