Hi folks thinking about moving the tv from out of the cabinet , 2 reasons to put a 21 avtex up and free up cupboard space has anyone rearranged there tv somewhere else just looking for ideas

Just saw the post without any responses. We have our microwave above the fridge, a little high I know, and have the television above the battery/control box seat. It is on a melamine shelf and misses the drop down bed when lowered. Depending on how high you have the tv we put stops to stop the bed coming down too low. Has worked for two years for us.

Will the 21” not fit in the cupboard? looking at the same Moho and have just bought a 21” avtex with sound bar for present Moho!

I've manage to get it to fit needs a wee bit of persuasion and help but goes in ok only thing with avtex TVs in the speakers are on the rest so need sound up loud to hear. But when making coffee it's blowing your ear drums avtec used to be the best TVs but so far behind now technology wise rear speakers no apps etc

I have the sound bar fastened to the bottom so I guess a 21” with it wouldn’t fit in the cupboard! Oh well it’s not the end of the world, I’ll have to find a different solution if I get the 670. Do you like yours? Any probs or niggles with it?

definately wouldn't fit in this space with the soundbar attached if the sound bar is wireless it can sit anywhere I use my Bose soundlink unit to listen to the tv it's plugged into the tv earphone socket , as to the 670sl motorhome can't fault it at all excellent build quality very comfortable and no squeaks or rattles from it I used to have a Swift Bolero 724, no confidence in the van at all always something going wrong neither it

We have a brand new Adria Matrix Supreme 670dc. First thing I did was to take the tv bracket out to free up space for storing stuff. I thought the tv arm would be too far away, would interfere with getting to toilet and the fridge door. I have a plan to go to a scrapyard and get an old headrest that will fit the one by the kitchen unit, Modify it so a tv bracket can be attached to it. That's the theory anyway.

Don't know if that would work with my 670sl as drop down bed when in use you need to remove the headrests on seats in lounge next to kitchen but it does sound a good idea need to get. The cables to that location though hope it works for you , love to see a pic of finished job if possible

Both the brackets and tv would be stored in the original tv cupboard. So you could use it before dropping the bed. I also intend to get a smart tv so only connection would be to the mains plug in kitchen. No aerial connection as we would use wife that we have from our mifi with 100gb data from Vodafone.

Smart tv sounds a great idea especially if no aerial required I'll just have to live with the Avtec tv not as modern as the new smart one

Can you not turn your avtex tv into a smart tv using a fire stick plugged into one of the usb/hdmi ports and use the other spare port to put a lead into it and connect it to the fire stick for the power source (other than that it’s a 240v power source)!!
At least I think that’s how it works!

Never thought of that to be honest sounds a good idea i will look into it thanks for that

Hi wow I'm really impressed with your design think I'll look at getting an old head rest and copy if if you don't mind , that would mean the tv cabinet can now be the microwave home. Thanks again really appreciate you taking the time to show me ?

So glad you like it. I thought all head rests were the same but I really had to have a good look around the scrapyard. Most are too big but found that the back seat of cars are the best bet and as I said on the other thread make a template for the holes.

Hi
Can you remember what model of car you got the headrest from I'm definately going to copy what you have done if you don't mind

Sorry I didn't take note. But after about 20 minutes of searching I came to the conclusion that the back seat ones were the most likely ones to fit. As I said get a piece of cardboard and draw around the holes or the headrest that came with it, you will definitely get a match in a decent sized scrapyard. Here is the link to the swivel bracket. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-5...0001&campid=5338547443&icep_item=362683431706

Hi
Thanks for the reply really appreciate you taking the time I'm going to have a look at our local breakers yard and gave a look
Thanks again

I too could not get the tv to fit into the top box but as we have the 687SBC model with a washbasin in the centre, the back panel is a perfect home for the tv when viewed from the bed. We do not watch much TV and have gained a cupboard for pots and pans.

Can any one tell me where the arial connection is on a adria matrex607sl is
